The Little Italy poster features a strong orange color, inspired by its vivid presence during my visit to the neighborhood

Downtown NY was designed in gray and black to reflect the area's towering buildings and the grayscale tones you experience there.
NEW YORK
IN ONE ELEMENT
Client: NYC CITY
New York Posters is a college assignment aimed at promoting a city I recently visited—New York City.
Design Problem: Use a single element and only two colors.
For this project, I created a series of posters highlighting the most popular neighborhoods in the city. I chose the torch of the Statue of Liberty as the central element since it is an iconic symbol of New York.

The Chinatown poster features a high-contrast red, inspired by the bold red tones I observed during my visit to the neighborhood.

The Times Square poster displays vibrant magenta and light blue, reflecting the energetic atmosphere I experienced while visiting NYC.
